Synopsis
The city of Tel-Aviv is a lively metropolis, and as vivid and hectic as the city is, so should be the architects and structures that TLV-city showcases. Florentine, a once peaceful Greek-immigrant neighborhood, became the beating heart of bohemian life and artistic doing. As such, it needs a building that characterizes its wish to break boundaries of spirit and matter- a role gladly fulfilled by a mixed-uses building that actually wants to be... a carnivorous fish!
Programme
The building has 8 stories: Lobby, clinic, 4 apartment stories and a two-deck penthouse. As a mixed-use structure, It includes an apartment lobby, 3 street-facing shops, a vet clinic with a separate entrance and its own parking. For uniquely-shaped concept apartments, Special design depicting the organic oceanic theme was required; due to the extreme shapes achieved in the structure, the 13 apartments the building contains were designed meticulously to fit the tenants and the morphology, alike.
